Firm favourites for good mental health

Breathing Space are promoting good mental health and wellbeing to youngsters attending the Celtic Learning Centre and Rangers Study Support Centre.

Both Old Firm clubs have state-of-the-art learning facilities developed in conjunction with Glasgow City Council to assist children across the West of Scotland and which promote the benefits of education, healthy living and social inclusion.

Tony McLaren, Breathing Space National Coordinator said: "Providing materials about mental health and wellbeing through these popular clubs and getting a chance to speak to the young people who can directly benefit from these initiatives is important. Unfortunately many youngsters in the West of Scotland face difficult challenges throughout their childhood – they are the ones who can really benefit from the opportunities which are offered through these learning and support centres."
