Emotional support for carers

According to the Carer’s Trust, there are 657,000 carers in Scotland. Every day across the UK 6,000 people start a caring role.

National Carer’s Week last month placed the spotlight on the work of carers, an issue which touches everyone’s life at some point and is perhaps becoming more prominent as the UK population ages.

Breathing Space, in association with RNIB Scotland’s Insight Radio, have been raising awareness of the challenges faced by carers and the emotional support available.

If you would like to talk to one of our advisors about any emotional difficulties, call Breathing Space on 0800 83 85 87. More information for carers can be found below.
