A Perinatal Mental Health Event is being held in the public atrium area at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (Larbert, Falkirk) on Wednesday 24th February.
The mental health charity Penumbra has set up a project exclusively for new and expectant parents.
Its Perinatal Mental Health Project hopes to improve mental health of new mothers and their partners by improving wellbeing and tackling stigma, throughout their pregnancy and up to a year after the birth.
The project is funded by See Me, the national programme to end mental health stigma and discrimination.
Figures from Penumbra show that depression and anxiety are two of the most common mental health problems women experience during pregnancy.
