Parliamentary event

Breathing Space were delighted to mark the end of Scotland's Year of Listening last week with an event at the Scottish Parliament sponsored by Kenneth Gibson MSP. The evening provided an opportunity to review the many activities which had taken place over the course of the year, alongside some of the individuals and organisations who have been involved in promoting listening skills for better mental health in Scotland. Recovery Runners 3K

  Join the Recovery Runners for the Recovery Runners 3K in Glasgow Green on Saturday 18th March. This forms part of the Recovey Runners Race Series, with a 5K in June and 10K in September.   Where: Glasgow Green Football Centre (G40 1HB) When: Saturday 18th March, 1pm How: register here Entry fee: Free   Registration on the day will open at 12pm with the race at 1pm. Kind volunteers took to the streets of Helensburgh to highlight the theme for Scotland's Breathing Space Day (1st February), '52 Weeks of Kindness'. All ages in the community got involved - from the Helensburgh Youth Forum to members of the senior citizens organisation Grey Matters, as well as volunteers from the Dementia Resource Centre, the Welcome In, Visiting Friends and Route 81 Youth Project Garelochhead - to encourage members of the public to carry out acts of kindness, and to continue th...
