It's NHS Living Life Day today, 25th August, which is the date the NHS Living Life phoneline service was launched 7 years ago.
NHS Living Life is funded by the Scottish Government and NHS 24 to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Guided Self Help to the people of Scotland who present with mild to moderate issues of stress and anxiety. It provides this appointment based service free of charge between the hours of 1pm till 9pm Monday to Friday.
The theme for Living Life Day is 'Make your day different...' and will encourage the Scottish public to stop and take some time to think about their emotional health and what changes could be made to their lives to improve their wellbeing. The day will raise awareness of the Living Life service and the need for us all to take some space to maintain positive mental wellbeing.
