Tony McLaren visits Sunny Govan Community Radio Station 5 October 2022, with presenters Steven and Maritza.

Ahead of Mental Health Week, National co-ordinator, Tony McLaren, spent some time at Sunny Govan Community Radio station “Chatting through the Chaos” with presenters Maritza and Steven. They talked about how important it is to make time to talk and offer space and compassion to one another. The trio considered reducing stigma around mental health, including ways to talk about mental health with respect, and the importance of sharing our feelings. They also touched on the the Breathing Space Bench project and the Glasgow Central Station Mural – public signs of the ways attitudes towards mental health are changing for the better.
