Feeling stressed about exam results?

On Tuesday 9th August pupils across Scotland receive their Higher, Standard, Advanced Higher and Intermediate results.

Carol Cowan, Breathing Space National Development Officer said:

"Getting your exam results can be a really stressful time. There are many pupils who may not get the results they were expecting. The best advice is 'dont panic' as there are many organisations out there that can offer help and support.

Our advisors here at Breathing Space can offer emotional support if you're feeling low, stressed or anxious. There are also organisations such as Skills Development Scotland who have a helpline with practical advice on what to do and next steps. The key message is that you are not alone."

If you’ve got your exam results and need advice on what to do next, call the Exam Results Helpline for free, independent advice, on 0808 100 8000.
