New Breathing Space Bench in Selkirk

Breathing Space were pleased to be present at the inauguration of our latest bench at the Haining Estate, Selkirk on Wednesday 24 May. The bench is a collaboration between Breathing Space, NHS Borders and members of the After a Suicide Working Group and is located in the peaceful grounds of the estate as a place for rest and reflection. Tony Mclaren, National Coordinator for Breathing Space said
"Breathing Space are honoured to be celebrating the installation of our latest bench in the Haining, Selkirk. This special location invites us all to pause, breathe, and embrace the nature that surrounds us.
The bench also invites us to connect with one another. We hope it will become a gathering point for friends and loved ones to come together, share conversations and find peace and rest.
If anyone ever feels that they need to talk beyond the bench, our Breathing Space advisors are here to listen. We'd encourage anyone to open up when they are feeling down and Breathing Space are here for you on the phone and webchat at nights and weekends on 0800 838587 and at breathingspace.scot"
